Bryant Stevenson's practice is limited to federal immigration law, with a focus on corporate immigration matters, foreign investors and entrepreneurs, and immigration-related compliance. He routinely represents clients in matters involving immigration benefit applications, as well as in enforcement proceedings before federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice, and the Department of State. Additionally, Bryant is experienced in handling immigration-related appellate matters before federal agencies and the federal courts.

 

Bryant also consults with clients on administrative compliance issues, including export control compliance under the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) with regard to the involvement of non-U.S. citizen personnel, and on immigration regulation compliance involving the I-9 and E-Verify processes.

 

As a former member of a first-tier national labor and employment law firm, Bryant has extensive experience offering immigration advice to clients that have included Fortune 100 companies and multinational corporations, and to clients in industries such as information technology, engineering, aerospace, defense contracting, banking, manufacturing, construction, insurance, higher education, and hospitality. He also has substantial experience aiding foreign entrepreneurs and investors in the establishment of new U.S. branch operations or in the creation of entirely new U.S. businesses, having previously worked with foreign entrepreneurs and investors to establish everything from a hedge fund management company to a casino property.

Tony Silva’s practice is limited to federal immigration law, with a focus on representing clients with extraordinary abilities in music, art, and entertainment, as well as in research and academia. Chris Ganter’s practice focuses on intellectual property law, and includes an emphasis on federal immigration law. He assists clients with patent, trademark, copyright, internet domain name infringement, and trade secret law issues, helping to obtain the broadest legal protections available for clients’ intellectual properties and to ensure that those properties are not infringed upon in the future. Chris works with foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and multi-national entities to ensure that intellectual properties accompanying new U.S. businesses and operations are adequately protected, and that any existing foreign intellectual property protections are similarly implemented in the U.S. Additionally, Chris works with foreign investors and entrepreneurs to help them and their families immigrate to the U.S. and to set up new U.S. businesses and operations in compliance with U.S. immigration laws.

 

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Auburn University, a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Samford University, and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law. During his time at Auburn and directly thereafter, he spent approximately two years in the pulp and paper industry as an engineer focusing on environmental compliance.
